Best cheese dip recipe?

Whats your favorite dip to use for tostitos? Please post the recipeBest cheese dip recipe?
Ultimate Nacho Dip

1 lb Ground Sirloin

1 lb Ground Hot Sausage

1 Med-Large Red Onion Chopped

Fry these in a dutch oven until burger, sausage and onion are cooked.

Add to the mixture:

1 envelope taco seasoning

1 jar of salsa (size and heat is up to you! I use a large jar and mild heat)

5 cans of Campbells Fiesta Nacho Cheese Soup or I box of Velveeta.

Stir together and warm through. Eat with Tostitos!

Notes: The Velveeta is a solid cheese, unlike the cheese soup. It will take longer to melt and incorporate into the dip. It will also solidify again as it cools. I really like the soup version. It stays creamier and melted longer!

Try this and enjoy!Best cheese dip recipe?
my mom has a cheese dip recipe. i keep asking her to give me the recipe so YOU could make it. but she keeps saying ';i aint givin out my RECIPE!'; but heres what i KNOW she uses: hamburger meat, peppers, onions, and velveeta cheese cooked and served. the rest...i DON'T know. because my mom refuses to give you the recipe. sorry!
Easy recipe and to me much better than Velveeta.

One can of Campbell's cheese soup mixed with half a can of Rotel. Of course if you have a big party...it is easy to double ...triple...etc.

I also have a recipe for a much hardier dip:

The first layer:

One can of re-fried beans mixed with about 1/2 cup of Salsa.

Next layer:

First brown a pound of beef. Then mix in a small container of sour cream with it (or if you prefer one can of Campbell's cheddar cheese soup from earlier recipe) and also add one packet of taco seasoning.

Next layer:

Lots of yummy shredded cheese on top. You pick your favorite cheese. I usually use cheddar or monterary jack.

Now all you have to do is put it in the oven long enough to melt the cheese. My suggestion is: 350 F for 20 minutes.
NACHO CHEEZE! not your cheeze na cho cheeze get it! give me 10 points now!
Put velveeta in, leave the cheddar out

put the salsa in,

pop it in and pull it out (of the microwave)

with greasy oily cheddar,

who know's what may come out,

with velveeta, there's no doubt

VELVEETA!!!!!!!!!!

catchy jingle, tasty dip
garfield? Uhuh

my favorite cheese dip for tostitos is mustard
Take half of a large block of velveeta cheese and cut into cubes into a microwaveable bowl, add a can of rotelle tomatoes (drained), stir, microwave for about a minute, stir. continue microwaving and stirring every minute or so until completely melted and mixed and it is very good with tostitos. Simple too.
Mix Velveeta with canned chili for an easy, good dip.
A Jar of salsa (i like chichi's) 1pound of hamburger, 1pound of sausage, 1 block of velveeta cheese. Ground the hamburger and sausage, drain. Melt the velveeta. Add the meat and salsa. Warm and serve. It's YUUUUMMY!!!

Enjoy!
I found a really good one on www.allrecipes.com but i can't remember what it's called!

Have a look.. they have loads there so you're sure to find a good one!
Ingredients:

one can of hormel chili (with or without beans)

one package philly cream cheese

one pack of shredded chedder cheese.

glass baking dish

Directions:

Take the cream cheese and spread it all over the bottom of the dish. Pour the can of chili over the cream cheese and cover with the shredded cheese. Microwave on high for 2-2:30 and enjoy! So, good we eat pans of it during our game nights and movie nights.
this one is pretty easy and I've never had a complaint as long as I've been making it....

you will need:

ground beef

taco seasonings ( I use the same packet as for tacos )

water

1 can re-fried beans ( the fat free ones work too )

shredded cheese

sour cream

anything you want to garnish it with, ie: diced tomatoes, diced green onion, bacon bits, etc. )

brown ground beef in skillet....follow directions for making tacos, but use 1/2 the amount of water.....

add re-fried beans, and stir for a few minutes......

put this mix in a baking pan: ( I use a pretty, decorated, Pyrex dish so I can bake and serve from the same pan )

put in the shredded cheese: ( I spoon some of the mix over, creating designs and/or circles in the pan...and put the cheese in the empty spots, deep into the dish, creating patterns....)

bake in 350 degree oven until the cheese is nice and melted.....

remove and let cool a few minutes.....

put a big ' dollop '; of sour cream in the middle...garnish with whatever you want........and make sure you have extra chips !!!!

if you want spicier dip...use 2 packets of taco mix!

I also sometimes make this like chili instead of tacos, for the ones who like more of a '; bite ';
