What is the best burger recipe?

Pizza Burgers





Prep Time: 15 minutes


Cook Time: 10 minutes


Ingredients:


3 pounds ground round ( prefered ) or chuck


1/2 tablespoon oregano (dried and crumbled)


1/4 tablesppon basil (dried and crumbled)


1 small onion diced


2 cloves of garlic minced


1 small green or red pepper diced small


1/2 cup pizza sauce ( either store bought or homemade )


12 slices of mozzarella cheese


12 slices of Provolone cheese


12 slices of pepperoni


12 Kaiser rolls


for rolls:


3 tablespoons olive oil


1 teaspoon oregano ( dried and crumbled)


1 teaspoon of basil ( dried and crumbled)


1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder


Preparation:


Mix the burger, spices, onion, garlic, and pepper together and shape into 12 patties. Grill over hardwood coals until done to your liking. Baste with the pizza sauce for the last few minutes. Cut rolls in half . Mix the remaining herbs and olive oil and brush on both cut faces of rolls, place face down on grill for a few minutes to toast. Remove from grill. Place a slice of Mozzarella cheese on one half of roll and a slice of Provolone on the other half of roll. Place one slice of pepperoni on top of one side of roll. Place burger on one side of roll and brush with remaining pizza sauce. Close roll and serve.

Here my Burger Recipe:





5 lb of hamburger


1 red onion chopped


1 yellow onion chopped


1 white onion chopped


2.5 lb venison


1 cup seasoned bread crumbs


1/2 teaspoon season salt


1/2 teaspoon crush red peppers


1/2 cup liquid smoke


1/2 cup whiskey


2 lbs of Hickery smoked bacon and 2 lbs of cheese








In a large bowl mix all ingerdent together. Make into balls, place into hamburger press and make 1/4 to 1/2 lb burgers. Put into figuator to chill. Start charcoal grill. wait until charcoal are ready for cooking. place burgers onto grill, can cook slowly. At the same time start frying your bacon on meduim heat. Place bacon on paper towels to drain extra grease off. set aside for when burgers are about done. Place a slice of cheese on top of burgers and bacon and then another slice of cheese on top of the bacon to melt. Place the burger on top of the buttom put of the bun and set the top part of the bun to the side of the burger and watch your family and guess go for your new hamburgers. Enjoy and Good Luck. Ingredients


4 pounds ground chuck


4 andouille sausages, diced


1 orange bell pepper, diced


1 Vidalia onion, diced


Worcestershire sauce


Grilling seasoning (recommended: Montreal's Grilling Seasoning)


Your favorite barbecue sauce


About 4 cups sliced mushrooms, sauteed ahead of time


16 slices smoked bacon, cooked ahead of time


8 thick slices smoked Cheddar


8 hamburger buns or 16 slices sourdough toast


Directions


Preheat a grill to medium-high.





Combine chuck with diced sausage, pepper, and onion. Portion off enough meat to make a burger, and shape the meat into a bowl to hold the Worcestershire and grilling seasoning. Pour just enough Worcestershire and grilling seasoning into the burger bowl and mix well to combine. Shape into a patty. Repeat with remaining meat mixture to make a total of 8 burgers.





Place burgers on the grill. Brush the burgers with your favorite barbecue sauce as they cook. Once they are almost cooked to your desired degree of doneness, divide the following toppings over: the sauteed mushrooms, 2 slices of bacon, and 1 slice of cheese, in that order. Cook just until cheese is melted and toppings are heated through. Serve burgers on a hamburger bun or sourdough toast



I buy the Kroger brand frozen patties, but these are good also








1 1/4 pound(s) ground beef chuck


1/2 teaspoon(s) salt


2 finely chopped onion


2 tablespoon(s) bottled salsa


1 teaspoon(s) salt


1 teaspoon(s) chili powder


1/4 teaspoon(s) ground black pepper


DIRECTIONS Combine onion, salsa, salt, and chili powder.


Mix seasonings with ground beef, just until well-blended but not over mixed, and shape into 4 patties, each 3/4-inch thick.


Heat 12-inch skillet over high heat until hot. Add patties and cook about 4 minutes per side for medium or until desired oneness
INGREDIENTS


1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese


1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese


1 small onion, chopped


1 egg


1 tablespoon ketchup


1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


1/2 teaspoon salt


1/8 teaspoon pepper


1 pound ground beef


6 slices bacon


6 hamburger buns, split














Preheat a grill for high heat.


In a large bowl, mix together the Cheddar cheese, Parmesan cheese, onion, egg, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Crumble in the ground beef, and mix together by hand. Form into 6 patties, and wrap a slice of bacon around each one. Secure bacon with toothpicks.


Place patties on the grill, and cook for 5 minutes per side, or until well done. Remove toothpicks before serving on hamburger buns.

Grilled Cheddar Burgers with


Green Chiles %26amp; Grilled Red Onions





Dale and Thomas Popcorn


2 pounds ground sirloin


1 tsp salt


1 tsp ground black pepper


1 tsp chipotle chile powder


1 tsp garlic powder


1/2 tsp paprika


6 Ciabbata Roles


6 - 12 Slices sharp cheddar cheese


1 large red onion


Olive Oil


Romaine Lettuce


2 - 7 oz cans whole green chiles


Mayonnaise





Mix the salt, pepper, chile %26amp; garlic powders


and paprika. Set aside. Slice red onions about


1/2 inch thick, drizzle with olive oil.





Divide ground sirloin into 6 patties. Season


both sides spice mixture. Cover with plastic wrap,


set out for 20 minutes.





Start your grill,heat for 15 minutes.





When grill is hot, place burgers on grill.


Cook 4-5 minutes, rotating half way through


cook time to get grill marks. Flip burger, cook


another 4-5 minutes, rotating again. Cooked to


medium-rare. During last 2 minutes, put a piece


of the green chile on the buger %26amp; top with 1 or 2


cheese slices. Close lid on grill, allow cheese to melt.





When burgers are done, let rest 5 minutes on


serving platter.





Carefully place onion slices on grill after you


put the burgers on, cook 2-3 minutes per side.





During last minute, split ciabatta rolls down


middle, toast on grill, about 1 minute. Spread


mayo on each side of the bun, put lettuce


on bottom bun and top with the fantastic burger.
