Tell me THE BEST cookie recipe you know of?

Please share! I'm looking for some cookies to make during the holidays...

PS...I LOVE CHOCOLATE!!!!Tell me THE BEST cookie recipe you know of?
How about chocolate cookies topped with chocolate frosting and M%26amp;M's? My grandma's Waffle Iron Cookies are a holiday favorite in my family. One note, a Belgian waffle iron (the ones that make the really big holes in waffles) won't work for this recipe, you need a standard waffle iron.

Ingredients for cookies

4 squares semi-sweet bakers chocolate

2 sticks plus 2 tbsp margarine

1 1/2 c sugar

4 eggs

2 c flour

1/2 tsp salt

Ingredients for frosting

1/4 c margarine

1/3 c milk

1 tsp vanilla

2 squares semi-sweet bakers chocolate

2 1/2 c powdered sugar

M%26amp;Ms for decoration - we usually put two green and one red on each cookie to kind of look like holly.

Directions for cookies

Melt chocolate and margarine together in a small pan, stirring continuously. In a bowl combine sugar and eggs and mix bowl. Add chocolate mixture and stir well. Add flour and salt and stir well. Cook in waffle iron at medium low/light waffle setting. If the waffle iron does not have settings you will have to keep unplugging iron to control heat. Cook for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, the cookies should easily lift out with fork. Place on cooling rack or on paper towels to cool.

Directions for frosting

Combine margarine, milk, and chocolate in a pan and melt stirring continuously. Remove from heat, add powdered sugar and vanilla and mix well. Frost cookies right away before frosting gets to thick, topping with M%26amp;Ms as you go.Tell me THE BEST cookie recipe you know of?
Refrigerator Cookies

1 c. butter

1 c. shortening

1 c. brown sugar

1 c. white sugar

2 eggs beaten

1 t. baking soda in eggs

1/2 t. salt

1 t. vanilla

1 c. slightly chopped nuts (I, like you, love chocolate, so I use chopped choc. chips)

5 c. flour

Cream butter and shortening real good. Add the brown and white sugar. Mix good adn add eggs and soda, then salt, vanilla, and nuts, and lastly the flour. The dough should not stick to your fingers. Divide in 3 parts, roll out like a log. I put mine in the freezer so it can be easily sliced. Slice logs in to cookie width pieces. Bake at 350掳 for 15-18 minutes.
!cup sugar

1 cup peanut butter

1 egg

Mix ingredients well . Make into balls about the size of a quarter . Place on ungreased cookie sheet . Press down gently with fork . You can place a hershey kiss in center of cookie instead of pressing down with a fork .

Bake at 350 until edges crack , about 8 minutes

Cookies stay soft , because there is no flour in the recipe .
how r u so fine?
